Show Me The World is uncompromising in its pursuit of ensuring equitable opportunities that foster professional and academic achievement, cultural competence, self-confidence, and non-cognitive skill development.

As part of this innovative approach, students studying biology before and during trips have demonstrated immense growth in biology class by achieving a B grade or better and scoring proficient on the biology state exam. Nearly all of the students increased their GPA throughout the yearlong project. In order to pay this opportunity forward, each student is matched up with an incoming member to serve as a peer-to-peer mentor.
