Our Costa Rica Dark Roast Coffee grows on 10 hectares of farm land which has volcanic soil and gets about 2000 mm of rain each year. The micro-mill is owned by three brothers who grow their coffee in the renowned Tarrazu region, not far from San Marcos. Our Costa Rica Medium Roast Coffee come from Tarrazu which is located in the southern Pacific region, south of the capital city of Costa Rica, San Jose. It is often referred to as the area where Costa Rican coffee was born. The high altitudes, volcanic soils, and abundance of shade all contribute to the distinct characteristics of coffee from this region. Our Costa Rica Medium Roast Coffee from Tarrazu is known to have a heavy body with a complex aroma.
